Latasha Walker, BS, MA, JD, MFT Intern
I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Communications and my Juris Doctor (JD/Law degree) from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and I am currently working towards my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy. I am a student member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, National Society of Leadership and Success, and a Pi Chapter Member of the Delta Kappa Honor Society. I am an advocate for seeing people win in life, one day at a time, through healthy relationships, personal and marital growth, living a balanced life, and discovering your best self. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, families and children and as a divorce, family law and juvenile court attorney for the past 24+ years, I have gained experience with helping people dealing with marital conflict, divorce, life transitions, issues effecting children and other challenges. I also am very experienced at listening and communicating. Although I have enjoyed the practice of law immensely for the past 24+ years, I am committed to transitioning to helping clients in a new way. I am dedicated to providing support and effective solutions to clients through collaboration in therapy and I pride myself on treating clients with professionalism, courtesy and compassion throughout the therapeutic process.
