The house projects are on full display or shelved away in the garage. You’ve seen every movie streaming at this point. The kids are bored. And you’re all anxious for something new. Being quarantined has not been easy.
Welcome to level 2 mom!
As everything begins to open up, summer is coming to an end and the children are gearing up to see their peers at school–but the pandemic stress hasn’t subsided just yet. If you have found yourself wanting to hide in the closet, your tolerance for things just a little shorter and wondering how you can realistically complete the to-do list you have written for the third time this week; you are not alone. Mothers take on a lot of responsibilities for their families regardless if you have one child or six, being a mom during this pandemic has not been easy.
Taking the time to identify and handle the stress that you have endured during this time has been put on the back burner for most parents. As parents we are used to making sure that everyone else is taken care of first and then we’ll get to us. Let’s start taking some time to take care of YOU!
Take a minute and create a mommy list. Instead of just listing all of the tasks you have to complete for your home and children; list your needs and wants for the next week. Include something just for you, even if it’s early morning coffee while the children are still sleeping. Among the routines that you have created for your household, let’s create some routines and schedules that include taking care of yourself.
During the pandemic a lot of things in our lives have been amplified. If you’re ready to unpack your stress, challenge your thoughts and behaviors and truly start some self care, schedule your first appointment with Taress! Schedule Appointment
Let’s take some time to appreciate what you’ve accomplished. Inhale…exhale… you got this!
