Dr. Stacii Jae Johnson (LHD,MAMFT)
I received my Master’s in Marriage & Family Therapy from Touro University. I am also a graduate of Spelman College, a best-selling author, and received an Honorary Doctorate degree of Humanitarianism from Global International Alliance.
As the relationship coach on OWN’s Put A Ring On It, I passionately guide and empower couples to build a stronger, more fulfilling relationship by helping three longtime couples embark on the ultimate relationship test that pushes them outside their comfort zones confronting questions they have been afraid to ask themselves and their partner.
I have over a decade of experience as a dating, love and relationship coach. I enjoy helping singles and divorcees rediscover and reconnect with themselves in a way that enables them to live full and well-rounded lives, so that when they encounter love and find a life partner, they can enter that union whole, full of self-knowledge, and aware of their individual value. As an advocate for healthy romantic relationships, I inspire, empower, and strategize with individuals, couples, single women and men to help provide them with the tools needed to create, cultivate and keep healthy romantic relationships.
I am excited to expand my passion into working with families and teens as well. Life can be hard and things in life can happen to us that turn us in a direction emotionally that can be difficult to navigate. I believe that it is important to have a safe environment where we can enter and talk through the challenging times in our life with someone who can help us explore ways to navigate those difficult times in a way that still allows us to achieve happiness and joy for living.
The approach I take to assist clients is typically based on the client(s) needs. Some of the modalities I use include but are not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy and The Gottman Method.
I believe that everyone has the ability within themselves to find their way back to joy. I love helping people and genuinely want to see everyone in every aspect of their lives – live their best life NOW!
Are you ready to get back to your happy with your partner? If so, take the first step.
